In last night's episode of Survivor, Ami was sent packin'. FINALLY! No more ugly blue bikini!
Okay, to recap: Nit-picking between the women, especially Ami and Twila. Ami didn't take kindly to the fact her buddy LeeAnn was booted last week and also didn't like that Twila swore on her son's life she was telling the truth about her alliance to the women. Ami... let me remind you... this is Survivor... you can win $1 million dollars.... if you have to lie, cheat and steal to win, then so be it. Deal with it. Way to go Twila!! The reward challenge was won by Eliza. She got a Pontiac G6. The top 3 finishers (Eliza, Ami, Chris) were sent off to enjoy hot showers, food and beds for an overnight reward. Ami spent much of her time schmoozing with Eliza, trying to convince her to boot Scout. Next, Chris won immunity, narrowly beating Ami and Twila. At Tribal Council it got fairly heated between Twila and Ami with much finger-pointing going on. I was convinced that Jeff Probst's questioning was going to sway the vote when he asked Eliza about her friendship with Ami. Both woman started bawling (yeah! extra points for my fantasy league!). In the end, Eliza did the sensible thing to save her butt and voted with her alliance of Chris, Scout and Twila in order to send Ami home.
Previews for next week lead you to believe that Twila begins to self-destruct. Hard to say if that is just creative editing or if she actually ruins it for herself. Time will tell.
