The Da Vinci Code is on sale at Border's for like $12 this weekend. I'm going at lunch, because rumor has it that Julie Delpy is going to be cast as Sophie Neveu for the film version (starring Tom Hanks and directed by Ron Howard). I have been in love with her since seeing Before Sunset and Before Sunrise (granted, that was 2 weeks ago).

Hmmm... and I thought I was the only one left on the planet who hadn't read this book.
It's an AWESOME book! However, I never would have seen Tom Hanks as the lead character. More Harrison Ford (type casting!) or perhaps Sean Connery. Even though the character is white, Denzel would have done justice to him. I love Hanks and I'm sure he'll do a great job, but it kind of seems like casting Jimmy Stewart as James Bond...
