LOST: Raised By Another

Ah yes, another Wednesday, another episode of Lost. Could there possibly be a better show on television these days? I think not. Let's cut to the chase, shall we?

The December 1st episode finds us learning a bit more about Claire, the pregnant lady. Seems she and a friend consult a psychic who abruptly stops the reading when what he "sees" is blurry, meaning something bad. Later when Claire's boyfriend leaves her, she goes back to the psychic. This time he tells her that her baby faces grave danger if raised by anyone but her. Claire wants to give the baby up for adoption but when she goes to sign the papers, the pens won't work. (insert creepy sound effects here). She ultimately agrees to the psychic's plan of giving her baby to a couple in L.A., meaning she'll take The Flight . The psychic knows the plane will crash and therefore ensures that Claire will be the one to raise her child.

Claire experiences nightmares... but could they be real? In an effort to make the island more secure, Hurley sets out to interview all the survivors and collect their names and information. Later he gets the manifest from Sawyer and discovers that there is one person living amongst them that was not on the plane (insert creepy sound effects here). Also, Sayid stumbles back to the caves and informs everyone that they are not alone on the island. Towards the end of the hour, Claire goes into labor. Charlie runs to get Jack and comes across Ethan. Charlie tells him to get Jack. As the show ends, we learn Charlie and Claire have been abducted and we are led to believe that it was by Ethan.

A very riveting show, I must say. Can't wait for the next episode!
