I am watching the final episode of Philly as I type. I am halfway through. It is okay so far, not really a "final episode."
The only thing worth mentioning so far is the introduction of a new character... Landon's boner! You could see it right through those green and black striped boxers. Cut to Landon washing Shavonda's hair in the shower. Hot.
Commercials (including a promo for Lizzy Grubman).
Shavonda and Landon lay in bed and cry, as they realize that they really like each other. D'uh. Sarah cooks a breakfast that looks like a giant dinosaur terd. And the roommates eat it, of course. Except for Sarah, whose mom calls her to tell her not to eat. She's getting fat or something.
Karamo is the first to go, which is fine with me. Oh wait, it's actually Mel that is the first to go. No one in the house notices she leaves.
Karamo's boyfriend, Eric Balfour, comes to pick him up and take him to the airport.
Willie and Sarah are next... my two favorite characters. Sarah is honestly the best Real World roommate in a long time. She's so intelligent and emotional, sincere and real. She has grown-up problems and talks about them. It is a far cry from some of the other casts from San Diego, Chicago, etc. MJ kisses Willie goodbye. And so does Landon's willy.
MJ, Landon and Shavonda are the last to go. Of course MJ leaves first. So Shavonda and Landon can reenact the end of Garden State.
This was my favorite season since New Orleans. The roommates have so much to do with it, and they nailed this season, with the exception of Karamo and Mel. But let's be honest, you need a few duds to make it interesting.
