Do you remember the scene in Jaws when Robert Shaw describes the sinking of the U.S.S. Indianapolis? The one where 900 soldiers were plunged into the shark infested waters and only 316 survived? J.J. Abrams (Lost, Alias, MI:3) is set to direct a movie based on this true story, from the perspective of a 12-year-old who investigates the story for a school project and the survivor who he talks to to research the story. It all sounds very intriguing to me.
