I'm starting to sense a theme....

NBC will launch an internet-exclusive series this summer on NBC.com called StarTomorrow, a co-production between Mottola Co., 25/7 Prods., and 3 Ball Prods. The idea is simple - viewers (or internet users) will vote on who they think is the next big singing star or group. The winner will have assistance guiding their career from Tommy Mottola (who has also worked with the likes of Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen among others), and receive a contract with Mottola's Casablanca label, a division of Universal Music Group, according to Variety. The series is expected to continue for four months, beginning with approx 100 contestants who are whittled down to just one.
