I did make it to Coldplay last night! As always, they put on a really great show. This time they played a handful of acoustic songs with the bassist playing guitar/harmonica and the drummer playing piano. Highligh (for me) was 'Til Kingdom Come. They followed that, a Johnny Cash tribute song, up with Ring of Fire. (Joaquin Phoenix was in the audience.)
The major bummer of the night came when we got to the concert 40 minutes late, only to realize that FIONA APPLE was the opening act! I only saw two songs, so I vowed to see her in concert later this year.
