I'm telling

I'll save the one you want to hear about most for last.

I just spent two days in the desert sitting by the pool in Palm Springs and then dancing/drinking/listening to music in Indio. The crowd was enormous (and only got bigger as the festival went on), but I was lucky enough to score VIP tickets. This meant that I got to sit to the side of the mainstage with the likes of Nicole Ritchie (she looks like an 80-year-old anorexic), Sean Lennon and Mischa Barton. Who cares, because the music was why I was there.

Saturday

Franz Ferdinand, they are so good - and their rock music had everyone dancing.

Kanye - also really strong, but I only caught three songs before heading over to see...

Imogen Heap - if you haven't checked her album out, you must. She performed mostly by herself (with the help from a few Apples), messed up the words a couple of times, but is cute as hell and has a great, distinct voice. One of my faves...

Common - solid, even though I don't know his stuff

And... Sigur Ros. LOVED them, but I might have been the only one. I guess it takes a certain kind of taste to enjoy their weird ass shit.

Sunday coming soon...
