Coachella

Okay, day two:

Sleater-Kinney - I am currently downloading all of their albums. Same with Yeah yeah yeahs. Both bands were fucking awesome.

Bloc Party - They are still blowing me away with their early U2-like musicality. And their stage presence. Wow.

Gnarles Barkeley - Crowd loved them, I hated them. They were dressed like characters from the Wizard of Oz. Makes sense, because they must have been on LSD.

MADONNA! Okay, I have to admit - I almost didn't go see her. The crowd was going to be too much, and I really didn't go because of her. But the time came, and we all decided, "why the hell not!?" We got relatively close to the stage. And there were giant TV screens to see the action on stage. She came on stage in a mirror ball. She sang about 6 songs. She danced like she was 25. She sang better than I've ever heard her. She played the electric guitar. Awesome light show. Really, the most entertaining concert I saw all weekend. Check it out on YouTube.com.
