Shawshank

How is that after 11 years and at least as many viewings, I always find myself in tears at the end of this movie. I don't think there's another movie out there that deals with male plutonic friendship quite as effective. Maybe Good Will Hunting.

    So... what exactly IS a "plutonic" friendship? Would that be a different sort of platonic friendship or perhaps a nuclear-style friendship?
